Outlook Plug-In for CRM: Zoho to Outlook Sync Question

Hi.

We used Outlook 2010 (32-bit) version, and just had our sales team install the Outlook Plug-In for CRM. I received a couple of inquiries from the sales team regarding the ZOHO to Outlook Calendar sync. 

  • If they establish the appointment in their Outlook calendar, it automatically syncs to their ZOHO calendar. So far, so good. 
  • If, however, they establish the appointment in their ZOHO calendar, they need to manually sync the calendar for it to appear in Outlook. 
My understanding is that if they have "automatically sync" checked, the two systems will sync. Is there another setting they need to adjust? Or, does ZOHO to Outlook always require manual intervention?.
