Pasting HTML produces embedded instances of Writer

Here's a weird one for you. I produced an outline using the Linux-based KnowIt, exported it to html, and then copy and pasted the outline's html body portions to Writer, saved, and then hit preview. The outline has a table of contents hyperlinked to node headings. I hit preview, then clicked on one of the topic headings in the table of contents.

Rather than taking me to the relevant section of the document, a new instance of Writer embedded in the pre-existing Writer instance opened with a blank untitled document. Copying and pasting the same outline source code to that instance and repeating the steps led to a third Writer instance embedded in the second instance, again with a blank untitled document.

After some experimenting, I found that I could remove the nested instances of Writer by deleting the untitled documents they contained, starting with the most deeply nested instance first.

I published the document so you can look at its source code. But everything works in the published version as expected other than a stray "document.write('" at the top of the document. So it seems this is at least mostly a problem with preview rather than the publishing code itself. The document is here. writer.zoho.com/public/marbux/Quotes/script
