I just made another post which made me come across the "Category" drop down that is part of creating a new post.

I think the amount of Category choices and sub category choices are not user friendly. It was very cumbersome to have to scroll through the list of 30+ items to find what I wanted to select. I'm not sure how many options there are but it is way too many.

I would recommend adding a search feature where users could enter what they believe the category should be and the UI will pick the most relevant matches. Or a feature that would allow a user to type in text and show any matches.

For example: If I typed in "Projects" it would show me "Zoho Projects" as one of the category options.

This would hopefully allow for easier user entry of the true category topic for users. With it being as cumbersome as it is and a mandatory field you may be getting a lot of inaccurate entries because people don't want to be bothered with scrolling through a very large list that is not user friendly.

An alternate solution may be to make this an optional field.

For this post I'm not sure what my true category and sub topic should be and I don't want to navigate the lists again to find the best match.
