Plugin Bug

I am having difficulties with the Writer/Word plugin. I have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled the program numerous times with the same result. Whenever I try to sign in, I get the message, "An error occurred while configuring the local setup for the user. Please check System Space and access permissions for the folder." I don't have this problem with the Sheet/Excel setup - I can log in just fine. Any help or suggestions? Or am I just stuck?
