Hi I need to pre populate a discount based on an amount in the quote module of the CRM. 

I appreciate that i could have used price books however the discount is an exact amount not a percentage and not necessarily a rounded number so this doesn’t work. 

I did create a field in the product module called discount. Ideally there would be a way using a function to pull this data into the quote line item automatically. 

Does anyone have ideas how i could do this please?
