problems editing in grid form

problems editing in grid form

When editing in "grid" view I make all the changes I want however when i hit the save button it brings up an error message telling me that the records i tried to edit could not be saved. When editing in regular list view i can edit each record but once again grid form which would save me a lot of time is not working at all. PLEASE HELP!
