Question about: Zoho Backup - Attachments (via download link)

i wonder how exactly is it when you get a backup from Zoho Desk. The documentation says the following:

So the file you download does not contain real files but only links to the files that are still stored at Zoho. What if I actually want to own the files locally? How am I supposed to download them? What are the links?

Do they refer to the real files that exist in Desk? That would be fatal, then they could be changed/deleted in the meantime. Because there will always be a time lag between receiving the backup and downloading the links specified in the backup file.

I would like to see a more specific explanation. Thank you very much!
