Quick collaboration

I am interested in using Zoho Writer with students. Often the turn-around time for getting them started and accessing a newly created document is long. Is there a way to post a document and have readers request the ability to share writing? Perhaps I could make it public on my private class site, and have them request permission to use it. I need a quick way to approve their access and get them going in class.
