We hope you are doing well.
We would like to request two important enhancements related to the Zoho Creator Client Portal invitation process.
At the moment, when we add a user to the Client Portal, Zoho Creator automatically sends an invitation email. However, if the client reports that they did not receive the invitation, even after checking spam folders, there is currently no option to resend the invitation from the UI or backend. The only available workaround is to delete the user and add them again, which is inefficient and may cause confusion.
Additionally, there is no way for admins to see the delivery result of the invitation email, such as: Delivered, Opened, Bounced, Blocked / rejected, SMTP issue, Mailbox full, etc.
These details are essential for troubleshooting and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for portal users.
Requested Enhancements
- Ability to Resend Client Portal Invitation
Add a button or action within the Client Portal user management interface that allows admins to resend the invitation email without removing and re-adding the user.
- Email Delivery & Status Tracking for Portal Invitations
Provide visibility into invitation email logs, including whether the email was delivered, opened, bounced, or failed.
Why This Is Needed:
- Ensures a smooth onboarding experience for clients.
- Saves time by avoiding the need to delete and recreate users.
- Helps diagnose email issues such as spam filtering or bounce events.
- Reduces confusion for clients who may receive multiple invitations.
- Improves professionalism and reliability for organizations using Client Portals.
