Search
Search
I have a real problem with how Search works in the editing page. The problem is that Enter is used to search again. When I search for something in the text, usually I want to do some editing on it, and often that involves using the Enter key. So if I have searched and found the text, I have to turn Search off in order to do this.
What makes it worse is after I have done the editing on that instance, I often want to search again for the other times the text has occured, so I have to alt-f again and enter the same search text again, and so on. What a drag.
In Internet Explorer, Enter means search again, but that is ok because you are not editing. In Notepad, you can search again with Enter, but if you click the mouse on the editing area then Enter switches off for search again and instead becomes the ordinary enter function (ie new line). And then you can search from then on using f3 and use the enter key for editing from then on. In another text processor I use, enter is for the first find only, and once you have found the text enter switches to normal editing, and all repeat searches can only be done with with cntrl-l. It seems to me it would be better if you changed the Search function to work something like this.
