Sending non marketing e-mails to non marketing contacts
We occasionally have to send communications to non-marketing contacts (service messages). For example we would send all our members an e-mail to tell them when the annual general meeting is coming or when their annual fee becomes due. I understand we can do this under the GDPR regulations as it is necessary as part of servicing a contract.
Is it possible to do this, or would I need to subscribe these contacts to a specific group? Is there also a way to stop them from opting out of these e-mails only.
I understand that we cannot include any marketing content in these messages and would have to send a separate message to opt-in marketing contacts if we wanted to mix content.
