Should I be able to edit text in HTML Code View?

Hello. In Zoho Writer's "HTML Code View," I can see the code, but I can't edit it.  The screen is grayed.

Should I be able to edit it?

The View has a "Save" button, which indicates that the code should be able to be edited and saved.
