The other showstopping bug for me has been how the cursor skips back several spaces and highlights an entire word when I hit backspace using the Chrome browser. This does not happen every time, but often enough so it makes the
Writer unusable.

 

In my included graphic at the end of the last partial word I hit backspace, and it skipped back to the beginning of the word right before the "b". You cannot see the cursor, but you can see the extra space that got added from this happening.
