Slides missing a lot of text after importing PPT

Hi,
First time using Show. Had a mostly text PPT file saved locally. Uploaded and opened into Show. Slides look completely different from what they're supposed to look like. A lot of text is missing on many of the pages (like there was no room on the page) and the basic background graphics are completely messed up.

Is there any way to adjust how something imports into Show to fix this problem?
