Smart Links

Is there any way to turn off Smart Links? Or even manually remove the link individually? Maybe this is more of a general iOS question (I'm using iPhone app). Zoho turns "Grateful Dead" into a link that doesn't go anywhere, and I can't stop it from doing that--iOS in other apps is not doing that.
