Sorting in Kanban Board Extension
I love the new Zoho CRM's Kanban Board extension from the Marketplace! It became my default page for Zoho CRM! I use Zoho Projects but what I find super useful in CRM's Kanban Board is that I can visualize all my Deals by stage but even more importantly, have a cool overview of all tasks related to the Deals.
Before discovering this board, I would manually copy them to Zoho Projects. Now I don't have to! I created workflows which auto-generate tasks based on a custom Deal stage. It is awesome to see them all on a board where I can drag between stages. Fantastic job, Zoho!
There is one feature I'd really appreciate that is missing... I like that we can manually drag the cards up and down the columns but I wish there were an option to sort by due date (and keep the sort of user's choice). A board of tasks (most have due dates) begs to be sorted by due date so that the overdue and due soon are higher on the list and not buried down the column and overlooked. Tasks without due dates would just drop below. I believe this is a standard philosophy behind any task list.
This would turn into an indispensable business tool to benefit lots of us once fully adopted. People need to know about its potential! Thank you for giving your attention to this.
