Stretch a not filed across 2 columns

I created a form using the default 2 columns. At the bottom of the form, I need to stretch a note field that has 2 paragraphs of information that the user must agree to before submitting the form. Ho do I get this note filed to stretch across both columns instead of being bunched up in the left column?
