Struggling to add a record to a form by email

1) I have a registration form on my website, from which I get an email whenever a record is added. I have mentioned the same mail ID (my Zoho mail account) as the form email alias for a Zoho Creator form. 
2) I have setup a filter in my Zoho mail account to forward these mails to the form email ID. 
This is the process outlined in Latha's response at https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/how-may-set-the-form-email-address-for-adding-form-data-by-email 

But this process breaks down for me because Zoho Mail does not allow mail forwarding till the recipient provides a confirmation code. In my case, Zoho is sending a mail to my form ID with the confirmation code. I have setup 2 fields ZC_Subject and ZC_Content in my form to receive the mail. But the mail doesn't hit my form and instead, I get an entry in my error log stating that "noreply@zoho.com is not authorized to add a record to the form". 

I can't find a way around this to get my registration form to hit Zoho Creator automatically and it's driving me crazy. Can someone pl let me know how I can fix this ASAP?
