Subform and Mainform relationship

Hi all,
I have created one main form and one sub form
A is the parent form and
B is the subform or child form
1- Form A has a unique mandatory field and I added a subform field in A that pointed to B
2- Created a lookup field in B that points to the unique field of A mentioned above
3- In form A Report added the autonumber field of B
and all the relationships seems fine except if I create a record using form B, it does not show up in the Form A which is the parent although I select the right record A from the lookup field.
The only way that I can have the child record B shown in the parent record is when I create it from within the parent record A.
Any help will be appreciated.
