Sync between Creator & Reports
We use Creator extensively. W
e now need to reduce our
record count which means
deleting older
records before a certain date. We need to keep these records somewhere though, so we are planning to export them to Reports.
The power of Reports in
visualizing/manipulating data
looks fantastic, so I am
wondering whether I could use
Reports to sync with Creator (
as I've seen is possible) so
that we have all sales data,
both older and recent, in
Reports to manipulate/
visualize.
However, I still need to
delete the older records in
Creator so that it frees up
more space. So, the questions
is: Is the "sync" a 2-way syn or 1-way syn? If I set up a scheduled
export from Creator to
Reports, can I then delete
older records in Creator and
will they still be present in
Reports after future syncs or will the "sync"
also delete them from Reports
when it finds they longer
exist in Creator?
