Sync'ing Outlook and Zoho - email

I am evaluating Zoho professional, with a key need being Outlook integration. I followed the instructions for downloading and installing the Outlook plugin and had no issues. I created a dummy contact in Zoho, using an email address I can access and sync'ed contacts with Zoho, and the contact was added to Outlook. Great!

I then sent an email from Outlook to the dummy contact. When I looked at the contact's page, I saw the email listed there. Wonderful!

I then replied to the email and checked the dummy contact's page, and I do not see the response. Did I configure something incorrectly? Having a CRM that can only track half of a conversation doesn't make sense...
