Tip#3: Smart Views to quickly enter the data in the records:

 


When sales reps are at customers' place and while entering the data into the CRM app, it is important to focus only on mandatory and system-defined fields to capture crucial info quickly and not take too much of the customers' time.

With the Zoho CRM mobile app, sales reps can achieve this by enabling the  'Smart Views' feature within the CRM app settings. Using this feature the reps can enter, view, edit only the required data (important fields in the layout) within the record.

 

To enable this feature, follow the steps given below:

 

1. Go to the Zoho CRM app.

2. Settings.

3. Smart view.

4. Enable the view for the required options.

 

Smart view can be enabled for 'Add record', 'Update record'. 'Details view' and 'Related lists'.

 

If you are trying to quickly add a lead record from the app when you are at your customer's place, you can enable this feature for 'Add record'.



After enabling this feature for 'Add record', you will be able to view only the fields that are marked as mandatory on the web (crm.zoho.com) and few system defined fields for you to key in the details. You can quickly fill in the details and save the record.

If you would like to view all the fields in the 'Add record' view, you can click the 'Show all fields' option at the bottom as depicted in screen-shots below:



Note: The 'Smart view' feature can be set for 'Update record', 'Details view' and 'Related list' as well.
