Tip of the Week #51 - Reorder rules for better functioning!


 In your shared inbox, when you have multiple rules set up, they are executed based on their priority order. The first rule in the list will be applied first, followed by the subsequent rules. So, the order matters! 
If a rule earlier in the list changes the thread in a way that affects later rules, things might not work as planned. To avoid this you can change the order of rules in Zoho teamInbox to ensure they are applied in your preferred sequence.
This applies to both personal and organizational rules.
Steps to reorder rules
  1. Login to Zoho TeamInbox.
  2. Click the Settings icon in the top right corner.
  3. Click More Settings and select Organization.
  4. Navigate to the Rules tab in the left pane.
  5. Click on the rule number and change it based on your preference.


The rules list will be reordered based on the assigned numbers, and rules will be executed according to the new sequence.
