We have new products set up as projects, with the project name being the SKU.

And then a custom field in this project template is the name of the product.

I need a way to show the name of the product as well as the project name (SKU) and I am reluctant to include the product name in the project name with the SKU as it will make the project names very long and be messy and truncated (I assume) in most places.

However I don't know why, but we cannot customise the projects table using any custom fields. So I've got no way of displaying the product name against a project - as from the SKU alone, team members do not know what the product is without going into the project.

Can anyone suggest a solution to this and how we might be able to show the value of a custom project field (product name) without including it in the name of the project?
