Unable to add external user to a group

Unable to add external user to a group

I´ve created a public group within my Org for communications, with a general email address. However, I want to add an external user to that group, but I´m no able to do so. It should be sending an invitation for that user, but no email is being sent for that user (spam folder was already checked by the person who should be the recipient´s invitation.
Can you please provide help or guiadance on doing this?
