Unique Reference Number

Hi all is there anyway in mail merge in Zoho CRM to insert a unique reference number.

For example if I am sending out a project brief I would merge the contact name and address details but I would also like to have a unique document reference number maybe made up of the unique ID in the CRM followed by an incremental number?

Is this possible?
