Website not properly connecting with Zoho Creator app portal (embed & data sync issue)

Hello Zoho Community,

I’m currently facing an issue while trying to connect my external website with a Zoho Creator app portal.

I have a tool-based website (

) where users interact with calculators and dynamic content. I’m trying to integrate this website with a Zoho Creator app so that the tool can either be embedded inside the portal or exchange basic data (like user inputs or calculated results).

The problem I’m facing:

  • The website loads correctly on its own, but when accessed through the Zoho app portal, the connection doesn’t work as expected

  • In some cases, the page doesn’t load fully, and in others, data is not syncing between the site and Zoho

  • I’m not sure if this is related to iframe restrictions, CORS policy, or portal domain settings

What I’ve already tried:

  • Embedding the site using iframe

  • Checking SSL (HTTPS is enabled)

  • Reviewing domain and access settings in Zoho Creator

I’d really appreciate guidance on:

  • Whether external tool websites can be fully integrated with Zoho Creator portals

  • Any required settings for cross-domain access

  • Best practices for embedding or connecting a dynamic calculator website with Zoho
