What are the Implications of Transferring Domain to Zoho?

I currently have my website and domain hosted elsewhere, and am thinking of transferring the domain to Zoho, but I don't really understand what that means. I am thinking it means I would have to use web-authoring software to build a website (hopefully I won't have to) hosted by Zoho, and my existing website would disappear. Would my website name and/or email addresses have to change, (which I would not like)? I am looking for some re-assurance and guidance here.
