What's New in Zoho Inventory - October 2022

We hope you’re doing well. This month, we've released a new edition of Zoho Inventory, enhanced the shipments module, and added powerful extensions that will supercharge your inventory experience. Here's what's new in Zoho Inventory this month.

Introducing Zoho Inventory Kenya edition

We're thrilled to announce that we've expanded to Kenya, making it the 14th edition of Zoho Inventory. With this edition, businesses in Kenya can create transactions in compliance with Kenyan VAT. We also plan on adding multiple Kenya-specific features and integrations soon to enhance your inventory experience. Keep an eye on this space for more updates. Vamaship Extension for Zoho Inventory (India edition) 

If your business deals with shipping products across India, you can install the free Vamaship extension available in Zoho Marketplace. Once you create a shipment in Zoho Inventory using the extension, Vamaship will assign a carrier to pick up the shipment from your warehouse and deliver it. You can also download the required shipping labels from the extension and track the shipment status in Zoho Inventory. Learn more. 

 


 

To get started, head over to the Vamaship Extension for Zoho Inventory page in Zoho Marketplace and click Install.


Partially fulfill sales orders 

Previously, you had to fulfill all items in a sales order. With this update, you can choose to fulfill the order partially or completely based on your business needs. This lets you mark some of the items (ones that don't require a shipment to be created or those sold in a retail store) in a sales order as fulfilled.


 


To fulfill a sales order, go to the sales order's details page, click the More dropdown, and select Mark Shipment As Fulfilled.

Enhancements to the Shipments module 

You can now create shipments from the Shipments module instead of creating them from a different module. Apart from this, you can also attach documents to a shipment from a shipment's details page.



iOS app updates

Here are some of the updates we've released in the Zoho Inventory iOS app:
  • Option to delete your Zoho account
  • Use Zoho Inventory in Hindi (India edition)
  • New contact details page to look similar to Apple's contact cards
 
We've also improved your experience with the app by fixing a few bugs. If you haven’t tried the iOS app yet, download it from the App Store and manage your inventory on the go.
