When will Zoho Books offer native NFS-e issuing, now with Brazil's National Standard?

Hello Zoho Team and Community,

I'd like to follow up on my previous suggestion regarding the critical need for Zoho Books to natively issue Brazilian Service Invoices (NFS-e). My original idea was that this could be achieved by extending the same integration Zoho already uses to bill its Brazilian customers.

I want to reinforce this point with a crucial update: the landscape for service invoices in Brazil has been officially standardized. The Federal Government has implemented the Sistema Nacional da NFS-e (National Electronic Service Invoice system), creating a single, unified standard for all municipalities across the country.

As detailed in the official technical documentation ("Manual Integrado do Sistema Nacional NFS-e"), this new framework was designed specifically to simplify and standardize integration for third-party software. It provides a central National Data Environment (ADN) and a set of APIs ready for platforms like Zoho Books to connect and issue all service invoices centrally.

This development effectively removes what was likely the biggest historical obstacle for Zoho: the complexity of building and maintaining integrations with hundreds of different city hall systems. A single, unified integration now addresses the entire Brazilian market.

This makes the question more pressing:

With a national standard and a unified API already in production, what is Zoho's official plan and timeline for implementing native NFS-e issuing in Zoho Books?

Lacking this essential feature is a significant weakness for the product in Brazil. Requiring users to rely on manual data entry or complex external integrations goes against the core value proposition of an all-in-one accounting system.

Furthermore, if developing a direct integration is not on the immediate roadmap, there are established palliative or complementary solutions that could be leveraged to accelerate delivery. Several local companies offer robust and well-documented APIs that specialize in bridging this exact gap. These could serve as excellent integration partners:

We look forward to a clear statement from the product team on this matter. Thank you.
