Zadarma + Zoho CRM Integration – Missed Calls Saved as Contacts Instead of Leads

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for input from anyone with experience using the Zadarma + Zoho CRM integration. Currently, I’m seeing that missed calls are automatically being created as Contacts instead of Leads.

From a CRM perspective, this doesn’t make much sense as it’s much more logical for missed calls to start as Leads, since Zoho allows you to convert a Lead into a Contact, but not the other way around. By defaulting to Contacts, it limits how we can work those missed opportunities through the pipeline.

Has anyone else run into this? If so, how are you handling it?

  • Do you have a workaround or automation to force missed calls to go into Leads instead of Contacts?

  • Or have you found a different way of managing this?
