Zoho CRM mobile: Support for rich text in multi-line fields, Image upload field, and more

Hello everyone,

We've made a few enhancements to the Zoho CRM mobile app to improve your experience. Here's what's new:

• Rich text support for multi-line fields (iOS)
  
• Image upload field support (iOS and Android)
  
• Tool tip markdown (iOS)
  

Rich text support for multi-line fields  (iOS)

The Zoho CRM iOS app now supports rich text formatting for multi-line fields. Previously, only plain text was usable in these fields. With this update, you can now format your text using the following options:

• Text styles: Bold, italics, underline, and strikethrough
  
• Colors: Text color and background color
  
• Lists: Bulleted and numbered lists
  
• Others: URLs, indent options, font size, subscript, superscript, emojis, and clear formatting
  

 

When you tap on a rich text-supported multi-line field, a formatting toolbar will appear, allowing you to apply these options.  

 

Image upload field support  (iOS and Android)

You can now upload images using the image upload field in the Zoho CRM iOS and Android apps. This field is supported across all modules—except the Activities modules.

Users can upload up to 10 images in JPEG, GIF, BMP, or PNG formats, with a maximum size of 20 MB per field.

 

 

 Tool tip markdown (iOS) 

You can now view field tool tips added in the Zoho CRM web version directly in the iOS app. Both static tool tips (text inside the field) and info tool tips (shown as an info icon) are supported.

 

Tool tips are available in the following areas:

• Create, clone, convert, and edit pages
  
• Detail pages
  
• Blueprint transitions
  
• Subforms (only info tool tips)
