Zoho MS Office Plugin Merge Output Data for Currency Fields

I have created a mail merge template through the MS Office Plugin.  The output data from the currency fields are delivered without commas and with a decimal length different than what is specified in the fields within Zoho.  Is there a way to format this data (or the fields in either Zoho or Word) so it appears in normal currency format in the merged document (eg. $10,000 instead of 10000.0)?
