Setting up zoho mail
Greetings, I tried to setup zoho mail yesterday and it did not work and created a big mess with what I am currently using. I use and isp for my email through my own domain. I setup gmail to read my mail in and to send because my regualr job liits the ports I can use and one of them is what my isp uses. I want to move from google to zoho but need some instructions about how to do it. I want to drop gmail and use zoho to read and write emails through my own domain. Clear as mud? Any help?
Activesync Problem
I just recently setup Zoho Activesync on my iPhone and have noticed a problem. Senders with display names containing commas get split into two addresses on the iPhone. For example, if a message is sent from the following: Last, First <firstlast@mydomain.com> it shows up on the iPhone as being addressed from Last and First. Last shows as an invalid address since no email address is associated with it. First works since it gets the associated email address. It appears that it's getting confused

Hello Zoho Folks -- I am well underway in ending my Google adventure before the big day -- when Google takes down the walls between its apps to sell me more ads as advised by its revised privacy policy. I've set my gmail and hosted google apps mail accounts for POP access and set them up in my Zoho Mail Accounts and messages started to pour in, but then they stopped. no email arrives in my zoho email account
Hello, I'm new in using Zoho, I qould like to use my email with Zoho application. I run my site with an Aruba provider, and I have a webmail that is like myname@mydomain.eu. Delayed e-mail forwarding
Hello, I switched from Google Apps to Zoho Mail, finally managed to set up aliases, catchall e-mail and forwarding, and all seems to work fine except that e-mail forwarding generates unpredictable, somewhat long delays. Incoming e-mails don't get forwarded immediately, but after a while: yesterday the delay was in the 1-5 minutes range; this morning as I'm writing I've been waiting for a forward for 16 minutes and counting. Trying to Create imap Account
I have tried to do this with Outlook 2003 and Thunderbird with no luck. Outlook 2003 says unable to connect to the server and in Thunderbird it tells me wrong username or password. I use a password manager and when I log in via webmail it works like a charm but when I try create an imap account in Outlook or Thunderbird it does not work. I have also tried manually typing in the password and username still does not work. Thunderbird will come back with the right host server, port, and ssl but tells

Hi, I just got an account and I can't figure out how to make my emails say they're from, for example, "John;" instead, they always show to the recipient as from "john123" which would be my email address. I put my name in my profile, but that didn't change it. Any suggestions?

You provide one for SHEET. It's not a problem with new messages as one can pre-select the format of one's text at the start. But replying to a message is a problem and one ends up with a mix of untidy looking styles, particularly if one interposes responses in the text of the original message. One ends up having to re-format each insertion individually - a bit of a pain. Thank you

Problem with sending mail using Zoho
Hi, I've been having problems with my Zoho mail personal account. I use outlook express to send emails to someone regularly but I recently sent an email with a jpg attachment of 17.5KB which didn't arrive and there were no error messages. I also tried using the web interface and this didn't work either. Whenever I try to send it again the recipient doesn't get it. Some emails arrive, some don't.The recipient is in the Whitelist on the Zoho mail web interface.

Hi There, How do I let 2 different users see 1 email address? For example I want to set up one email address (info@...) that both user 1 and 2 can see and reply on (and if user 1 replied, user two must be able to see the reply as well...) Also same for tasks? Thank you very much!
IMAP Problems?
Is there currently a problem with IMAP? I can access Webmail, but I have problems with IMAP today using either Outlook or Thunderbird - no configuration changes on my side.
Multiple Email Accounts on Desktop
It would be great to have multiple email account windows on the desktop. At the moment there's just the one...Does it display all email from all accounts? Just curious. I plan on installing the free verison in an attempt for a client of mine to drop Time and Chaos. (it's dreaded software that goes down all the time...)
CRM Send Email link brings up crappy email interface for attachments
I am a CRM & Mail user. I have made Zoho Mail my default email in my browser so when I click "Send Mail" from the CRM an email form pops up in a new window. When I send a customer a quote, I send a .pdf of the quote(s), a brochure about the product(s), multple pictures of each product and shipping information. All told this ranges from 3 to 15 attachments per email. With this interface, I have to manually browse for and add each attachment individually. Can you PLEASE make this interface the same

Domain and mail difficulty,
Hi, I have sent in a support ticket, but no response yet. I am needing help linking Zohomail to domain.I bought a domain through Zoho just over a year ago, and although I have had a couple of very helpful responses from the support team, I am having difficulty. I am sure if I could talk to someone, everything would be up and running in 20 minutes. My difficulty has been partly time related - when a question comes up I am already too busy again to deal with the response when it comes a few days later.

I currently have one forwarding address to a gmail account, and I'm trying to add a second forwarding address to another gmail account. The first has worked for quite some time, but when I try to, "add an email address", a message pops up on the bottom right of the screen: "Error While Processing" I've enabled all settings on the gmail side, and I can even send messages from my new gmail account from my Zoho name, but it won't let me forward messages! Organising Links into folders for subcategories
How can I create folders for subcategories of my links? I was able to import my links and maintain my directory structure by I can't see how I can further organise links within ZOHO mail and create appropriate folders. regards Philip

I am paying $5 a month for what seems to be a free service now. I would like to change this to the $3.50 per month service (15gb) so I can get mail sync. Am i seeing something wrong? If not, how do I do this? Thanks, Tom
Can't send emails
hi there, I cant send any email. It doesnt give an error message but just doesnt react when I want to write something in the main body or press the "send" button. Also, drafts dont open properly. In the draft folder I can see the header and the beginning of the text but when it opens it only shows the recipient and the subject and main body are empty. Refreshing and restarting the browser doesnt help and I have tried it in both firefox and safari. I can receive and open emails without problem though.
AGAIN problems with attachments and russian characters
Dear Zoho Mail Team, We are AGAIN facing strange problems with attachment that contain russian characters. Now Zoho Mail complains about some names "Attachment name cannot contain special character." And i can't figure out what are they. See the attached screenshot, first and second names are mostly identical exept the latest character. Zoho doesn't like the second name. Show folder item counts on all folders and sub-folders.
I think it would be nice to have folder item counts so you can tell when a folder has something in it so you don't have to click on it to see. I'm referring to what you see while looking at email folders like "Inbox". It shows the number of unread emails right? Similarly, I would like to see such counters for: Notes Tasks Links -Jeff

My mail screen loads without the mid frame!
Hi, When I login using my office computer, the header and the left bar load but the mid section where the emails are listed fails to load. "The connection has timed out. The server at zmail.zoho.com is taking too long to respond." message is listed instead. If I login from a different computer it works.
