404-Error when redirect to "Mobile Friendly" site since installing SSL

I am experiencing a weird problem since installing SSL (using Let's Encrypt method) on my site. When I navigate to the root domain on my phone it will often redirect to a page with a weird URL (e.g.   https://www.myurl.com/ZReQZ/ZolYn/pYZLc/ the /ZReQZ/ZolYn/pYZLc/ part is different each time ) and I will get a Page Not Found error. I can navigate from that page to the mobile site by clicking on the home link. Sometimes it will just time out and not navigate to anything at all. Occasionally times it will navigate fine to the mobile site.

I have tried adjusting my forwarding rule in my DNS provider (Go Daddy) from redirecting to http or https but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Is this a bug or have I misconfigured something?
