A very basic question: how do I use CRM and Zoho email together so that all emails appear in the same place?

Apologies for what sounds like a very basic question.

I use Zoho email and I've subscribed to CRM. However, I can't find anything which explains how to use them together to track all my email activity with Zoho email as my default email client. 

To me it sounds like a conceptual problem from my end but I simply don't understand this: 
  • can I can use Zoho email to view all my email activity sent from within CRM? 
  • if not, should I ignore Zoho email as default and use a Gmail account instead to integrate all CRM email activity?
I really hope someone can help.
