Add or update lookup field values during Blueprint transition
Hello everyone,
During blueprint transition users can add or modify the value of a lookup field.
For instance, if the Tickets module includes a lookup field that connects it to records in the Assets module, agents can link the ticket to the correct asset while performing a transition. This ensures the issue is associated with the specific asset reported by the customer.
For example, when a ticket moves from “Open” to “Diagnosis in Progress,” the transition will prompt the agent to select the Asset Name using the lookup field. This will link the ticket to the correct asset while the blueprint is in progress.
If the lookup field already contains a value, and during transition the agent selects a different value, the older value will be overridden. Selecting an appropriate value for the lookup field during transition can also be mandated.
Note that only the primary field can be added as a lookup.
