Chat ability in Zoho Assist

Chat ability in Zoho Assist

I was wondering about the chat function inside Zoho Assist. I was assuming that this would be a means to communicate to the client that is having their PC controlled by you, is this the case? When I started a session and typed in the chat window it didn't come up on the clients screen. Also, if I right clicked the Zoho Meeting icon on the clients PC and chose chat nothing happened. It would be nice to have a method of communicating to the client...am I missing something?
