Confused As To The Relationship Between Zoho CRM and Zoho Mail

Confused As To The Relationship Between Zoho CRM and Zoho Mail

Please forgive me but I am not technical and wish to make sure this seemingly impressive suite of products can do what I need it to before I buy it.

1. I was able to upload my contacts from Google Apps to Zoho Mail and it works really well but I can't seem to find a way to get them from Zoho Mail into Zoho CRM?

2. I can't find a way to send a receive e-mail within Zoho CRM and have it synched with Zoho Mail (and needless to say vice versa)? This appears odd as why bother if the two can't be synched?

3. I can't find a way to synch my Google Apps Calendar with the calendar in Zoho Mail or CRM?

Help on any or all of the above would be appreciated as I hope it is me being dumb.
