Desk ASAP Widget Should Include Push Notifications

BACKGROUND:

My business delivers SaaS based products to end users, who pay per license to access a password protected website (standard SaaS product model). My Web Application uses the ASAP widget to deliver tech support through chat and knowledge base articles that are delivered through Zoho Desk Help Center. Our Help center is setup for registered users only. We use the Help Center Community to Deliver announcements to our end users, as well as the Idea and Bug topic types to keep our end users aware of known issues and ideas that they may be interested in voting for.

What my company needs to do is to notify our end users that new versions of the product have been released or that scheduled maintenance is planned and that there will be downtime coming up. Since not all my end users read their emails, being able to provide push notification to the web application through Zoho Desk ASAP Widget would be a HUGE Help. Since my end users are already trained to use that widget to get help, they expect to look their for notifications and announcements.

What would be great is if we can schedule notifications through the ASAP widget to be displayed to users when they log into our application. When the ASAP widget is closed the end user should see some kind of icon or indication that indicates a notification is present in the ASAP widget. When the Widget is opened the end user should see the notification.

It would also be beneficial to be able to indicate that Community Topics such as announcements can trigger such notification in the ASAP widget when it is published so end users know to go read a specific post to get more information about the notification.

USE CASE:

As a Business Owner or Product Manager, i want to be able to alert or notify my end users with scheduled alerts through the ASAP Widget that can be linked to specific community topic posts, so that i can notify my end users about specific events that may have taken place, such as up coming scheduled maintenance leading to downtime, or a new update that was just released, or something similar.
