Has there been any progress in making Zoho Connect style Tasks available for Zoho CRM?   Is there a way to create a task in Zoho Connect and link it to a record with in the CRM? 

Our team's internal workflows use Zoho Connect very heavily for task based discussions, but we need a way to tie them to the records (Accounts/Opportunities) within the CRM.  Does anyone have a workaround that works for them?

The inability to improve/update the functionality of Activities within Zoho CRM is going to make ZohoCRM obsolete very soon.
