Event requisition - Too much information!
Hello,
I'm using the HTML snippet for event requests, and it works well enough, and I've already sent you some suggestions. However, in testing today, I realized that with an HTML embedded calendar, and privacy settings allowing event requisition, the accepted requisition creates an item on the calendar, and anyone can access the complete record of that event - not only the time and "reason" (which is not good for an event name, by the way), but the name and email address and item code of the requester. I do not want all this information to be publically available! (I'd like the option to hide specific fields when I accept the reservation.) I'd also like the requisition form replaced with a success message after it is submitted - in testing, multiple entries were rec'd because testers did not know their first click was successful.
I'd like to use calendars & event requisition in this way: My instutition provides 4 consultants. On one embedded calendar, you can see the availability of all 4 consultants. From an embedded requisition form, you can select which 1 of 4 consultants you wish to schedule with, and then list the starting time and ending time for your session. Meetings can range anywhere from 1/2 hour to 3 hours, but no appointments longer than 3 hours can be requested. Further, no appointments can be requested outside of specific hours (when consultants are available, which may vary by consultant - "Jim" is not available Thursdays, "Nancy" is not available Monday afternoons, etc.) Once a submitted request is approved, the Jim calendar shows the appointment time, and the name of the requester - and to see more information requires logging in with an approved account.
Thank you for all the effort you've provided this product, and for your further refinements and consideration. Good luck!
