How to access email templates using Desk API?

How to access email templates using Desk API?

Trying to send an email to the customer associated to the ticket for an after hours notification and can't find the API endpoint to grab the email template. Found an example stating it should be: "https://desk.zoho.com/api/v1/emailtemplates/" + templateID; but it doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
