Import of Quickbooks transactions is incomplete -- why?

I am trying out Zoho as a possible CRM solution, and have been struggling for days to get Quickbooks data to import correctly.  First, it only imported products (rather than everything).  So, I told it not to import products, and had it just do contacts/accounts, invoices, and quotes.  It imported a lot of contacts (curiously, some of them show up multiple times), and 1,866 quotes and a grand total of 85 invoices.

Perplexed, I turned off accounts and tried the import again.  1,866 quotes and 85 invoices.

I have -way- more of both of these that need to be in the system.

I am using the web connector and Quickbooks 2012.  I have emailed support and called them, but both times they essentially said they forwarded my problem on to another engineer who will get back to me (not really assuring).  Does anyone have any idea what might be causing the incomplete imports?
