We have tried the Card Scanner Android app but the results have not been very positive. It works fine with very simple cards (black on white), but fails quite a lot if the card doesn't have a very simple design.

Besides that, the app struggles to identify non-English characters even in very clear cards. For example, Spanish o with an accent "ó" is usually interpreted as "6".

Is there any way we can improve the scan results? Beyond using the best possible light.
