Introducing Import Contract API

Introducing Import Contract API

We are excited to introduce the Import Contract API in Zoho Contracts. Here's a brief overview:

Import Contract API

The Import Contract API allows you to import contracts directly into Zoho Contracts in any of the following states:
  • Draft
  • Signed
  • Active
  • Expired

Sample Usecase:

A legal team is looking to bring their legacy or draft contracts into Zoho Contracts. These contracts are in various states - some are still drafts, while others are already signed, active, or expired.  They are stored across different locations and formats, such as email attachments, local folders, MS Word documents, and signed PDFs.

Using the Import Contract API, the team can import each contract into Zoho Contracts in its current state, whether it is an active vendor agreement, an expired NDA, or a signed partnership deal from a previous year. This ensures that all contracts are centrally stored, easily tracked, and effectively managed within Zoho Contracts.

To learn more, please refer to our Import Contract API documentation under the Contracts > Create and Manage folder.

Notes
Note:
  • Importing signed and expired contracts along with their amendment or renewal history is not supported.
  • For developers who are already using the previous Import Draft Contract API, you can continue to use the API.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to our support team at support@zohocontracts.com. We are happy to help.

Cheers,
