What is Workqueue?
Sales teams often struggle when their work is scattered across different areas of the CRM. Tasks sit in Activities, approvals hide deep within workflows, and key records end up spread across multiple modules. This fragmentation leads to missed opportunities, slower processes, and reduced productivity.
Workqueue solves this problem by bringing everything together.
Workqueue provides a centralized, customizable dashboard that consolidates all your critical work items—no matter where they live in the CRM. With everything in one place, you can manage your day more efficiently, stay focused on what matters most, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Here's a quick look at the key sections and benefits of Workqueue
1. My Activities serves as your central task hub, displaying all scheduled and overdue work with clear, color-coded priority indicators—red for overdue items and green for upcoming activities. You can complete tasks, update details, and take action directly from this view without needing to switch between modules.
2. My Jobs streamlines your approval workflows by centralizing all pending actions. Review and manage approval processes, workflow rules, blueprint transitions, and Zia Vision–powered image validation from one place. Approve, delegate, or reject requests with a single click, enabling faster and more efficient decision-making.
3. My Workqueues offers powerful customization flexibility. Create personalized views in three ways: import existing module views, apply date-based filters like 'Contacts created today,' or build criteria-based filters such as 'Annual Revenue > $100k.' Workqueues automatically categorizes items into 'My Records'—items you own—and 'Other User Records' for shared items within your visibility.
You can also create tasks, meetings, calls, or appointments with the help of the activities button for the records directly from the workqueue.
Manager View: Team Insights - For users with subordinates, Workqueue includes a Manager View that provides real-time monitoring of team members' queues.
Availability
- Workqueue will be supported for all paid editions of Zoho CRM.
- Workqueue is currently available for partners and partner demo accounts across all DCs.
- We'll start opening for customers in a phased manner starting next week.
