Modue integration Really not relationable
Here is a discussion I just had. What is the purpose of being able to create custom modules if you can not integrate fields from the custom modules into email or mail merge templates?

I am trying to make a mail merge template, it will only allow me to access 4 modules and not any custom modules. I need to use fields from custom modules.

In the potential module I want to use some of the field of a custom module we created but it will not relate to that module.

Sorry about that functionality. As of now potential is related to only few modules. Custom modules are not one of the option now

I do not understand, we write technical reports, we were told we would have to use creator which we did and now were told that you can not use the fields from creator for mail merge at all. Now you tell me we can not use informational fields from modules that we create in a custom module. What good is this as a relational crm.

We currently have only partial integration with other services of zoho. Unfortunately we dont have support to insert merge fields from custom modules to mail merge documents
We will definitely try to enhance these functions in future updates

We have provided only options to create template. The custom modules are not directly related to potentials or contacts
Hence we have not provided options to insert merge fields from other modules
Only the default related modules can fetch the data for merge fields
