Multi-currency - What's cooking ?

Hi,

      We have been doing this feature for sometime and we would like to give you some glimpses of it. 


Working with Multi Currency : 

      Multicurrency support gives you the ability to handle business transactions in multiple currencies. You can define a base currency for your organization and add more currencies with exchange rates based on the base currency. 

Setup : 

      From the setup page, you can manage all the currencies supported by your organization.

Record Creation : 

      Assign a currency to a potential, lead, invoice or any record while creating the record.




List View : 

       In list view, all the currency values will be displayed in the record's currency as well as in the user's currency which is enclosed in parentheses.




Inventory cover-up : 

The Products and Price Books can also be tagged with various currencies and so can be with Quotes, Sales Order, Invoice and Purchase order. 

Reports : 

      You can view the report in any one of the currencies supported by your organization.



      

When will be the release ? 

      Unfortunately due to some inevitable reasons, this will not be rolled out with our New UI launch on 15th of December. We will move it to the main trunk once we release New UI plus other features. We will validate it again and push it to the release schedule. We will keep you posted about the release date at that time. 

      Moreover, the screenshots which you see would be subjective to be tuned and polished. You can keep posting your feedback and clarifications here. We will be in touch through this forum.
