New project with a deadline, actions and milestones based on the deadline.

Hello.

We're going to integrate Zoho Projects in our company. I know nothing about the app yet as Im still trying to set it up but it seems like Im missing the feature of setting up a deadline.

So lets say I sign a deal that needs to be finished by the end of march 2024. Lets say 30.03.2024 would be our deadline.

Depending on type of work we do, there are some tasks that we need to finish at certain periods of time so the project is ready on time.

Is it possible to make all the workflows, tasks, milestones etc be based on the deadline and not the time when the project was created?

So lets say if I set the deadline 31.03.2024, there will be a task that needs to be finished 2 months earlier.

If there is no way of setting this up - what would be the best way to handle and use zoho projects in this situation to make sure we do everything on time?

If I just set up a template and then create a project that is based on the time of its creation, it may be that by the time we start working on that particular project, all of the tasks and milestones will be delayed because at the time we're working on something else. Which actually would not even be true because if we sign a deal for year 2025 it doesn't mean we need to start right now - it just means that this client want's to make sure we work with him in a year 2025 when it needs to be done.
